One year ago, far-right Supreme Court justices overturned Roe v. Wade and since then it became more dangerous to have a baby in America. Removing options for doctors has led to more pregnancy-related emergencies. I believe a person should never have to worry about how to seek or negotiate safe and affordable health care – and that includes an #abortion. As a public health doctor, I believe health care providers should have more options, not less, when dealing with medical emergencies.
I stand with the majority of Americans who believe the right to choose is fundamental and I will fight to codify Roe v. Wade and support passage of the Women’s Health Protection Act.
