El Dr. Jirair Ratevosian es un orgulloso ciudadano armenio estadounidense de Los Ángeles. Nació en Hollywood y creció en Sunland, hijo de inmigrantes armenios y libaneses. Jirair, experimentado dirigente de la política federal, doctor en salud pública y voz progresista del cambio, ha dedicado su vida a ayudar a los demás y ha pasado su carrera reuniendo a diversas comunidades para resolver grandes retos.
Jirair fue nombrado por el Presidente Biden funcionario armenio estadounidense de mayor rango en el Departamento de Estado; fue director legislativo de la congresista Barbara Lee; fue organizador y activista comunitario de base; y trabajó en el sector privado. Producto del sistema escolar de Los Ángeles, se licenció en la UCLA y tiene un doctorado en salud pública por la Universidad Johns Hopkins.
